Frequently Asked Questions
Food: What will my campers eat?
When surveyed at the end of the week with "what was the best part of camp?", many campers respond with "the food!"
Our camp cook does a great job of providing "home cooked" meals that the kids all enjoy. Plus there is a salad bar at every lunch/dinner. We make sure that nobody walks away from the dining hall still hungry.
If you have any questions, or your campers have special dietary needs, please note that in their Camper Registration, and feel free to contact the camp cook on the "Contact Us" page.

** Special Notes:
1) Please bring an actual Bible - no phones, Kindles, etc. will be permitted for the sessions. If you don't have one, we will have a few extras.
2) Bring a pair of water shoes or old gym shoes to wear on the rafting/canoeing trip. Flip flops don't work in protecting your feet from sharp rocks and the slippery river bottom.

Are there any items campers cannot bring?
Yes! Please do not send any of the items below. All non-approved items will be confiscated at the discretion of camp staff and returned at the end of the week.
- No Food Please! - The campers get fed as much as they can eat! Food in the cabins attracts rodents and insects, and can be a source of conflict.
- Valuable items (jewelry, money, etc.)
- Electronics (iPods, MP3 players, laptops, game systems, etc.). Cameras are allowed.
- Cell phones/smart watches! (in case you missed it in the list above). If parents need to contact a camper, please get the phone number of your child's camp director at check in, or use our Contact US page.
- Revealing clothing: Please see the dress code below.
- Flip flops. We've seen too many foot/ankle injuries in past years. Socks/shoes are best.
- No weapons (including pocket knives, fireworks, or other items that may cause harm or danger. (If you can't take it on a plane, don't bring it to camp)
What is the dress code?
We believe the scriptures teach that a believer is to dress in such a way that attention is not drawn to the body (I Peter 3:1-4). The Word of God makes it clear that modesty must be the believer’s rule of thumb. Our purpose is to keep the total camping program in line with what we believe the Scriptures teach. Therefore, the following dress code will be enforced:
All clothing is to be modest in style and not draw attention to the body. The camp reserves the right to define and enforce the meaning of the term “modest.”

- Appropriate “tankinis” are acceptable
- One-piece suits with high-cut legs are not acceptable
